Steve - FOUNDER
Hi, I’m Steve — the proud founder of SPR Accounting & Taxation. As a father, dedicated accountant, and small business owner, I’ve always believed in the importance of balancing family, hard work, and professional integrity. These values are at the core of everything we do at SPR.
After completing my Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, I went on to earn my Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualification—laying the foundation for a career focused on financial excellence and client service. Along the way, I also pursued further education, gaining a Certificate in Real Estate and becoming a qualified mortgage broker to offer more well-rounded financial guidance.
My accounting journey began in 2001, starting out as a junior accountant in a large firm. Over the years, I progressed into senior accounting roles, building both technical expertise and a deeper understanding of client needs. Eventually, I followed my dream of opening my own firm—one that prioritises genuine relationships, attention to detail, and long-term client success.
SPR Accounting & Taxation was founded in 2009, and since then, it’s been a privilege to support individuals, property investors, and small business owners across Australia with their tax, BAS, and financial service needs.
